The city of Trier, Germany has many different church. Several are pictured below including the Basilica of Constantine (Aula Palatina) which was built by the emperor Constantine at the beginning of the fourth century CE. Today it is used as the Church of the Redeemer owned by a congregation of the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland.

Side-by-side in Trier are the Church of Our Lady - Dom Liebfruenkirche and St. Peter’s Cathedral - both Roman Catholic. Together they are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
